We collect information directly from you when you use our website, contact us, book or attend an appointment, request swatches, place an order, attend a fitting or subscribe to marketing.

We may also receive information from Shopify, booking and calendar services, payment providers, couriers, social-media and advertising platforms, or from someone acting on your behalf. Existing Gormley & Gamble client and garment records may continue to be used by Holden & Hunt as part of the change of trading name.

Marketing choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. This will not stop service messages about appointments, orders, fittings, payments or delivery. We may keep your email address on a suppression list so that we continue to respect your opt-out request.

We do not sell personal information. Where necessary, we may share relevant information with:

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary. Our general retention periods are:

  • General enquiries and appointments that do not lead to an order: normally up to three years after our last meaningful interaction.

  • Measurements, patterns, fitting notes and garment history: while you remain an active client and normally for up to seven years after your last order or meaningful interaction.

  • Orders, invoices and accounting information: normally at least six years after the end of the relevant financial year.

  • Complaints, alterations and disputes: normally up to six years after the matter is resolved, depending on its nature.

  • Marketing information: while you remain subscribed or while we have another lawful basis to contact you. Suppression-list records may be kept longer so we can respect your opt-out.

  • Cookies and analytics information: for the period shown in our cookie-preference centre or set by the relevant provider.

We may keep information longer where necessary to comply with law or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. At the end of the relevant period, information will be deleted, anonymised or securely archived as appropriate.
