Bespoke tailoring has long been shaped by the exacting standards of London, yet women have rarely enjoyed equal access to that craft. From our atelier in South Kensington, Holden & Hunt creates bespoke and made-to-measure, especially for women, bringing traditional British tailoring and exceptional fit into a more contemporary wardrobe.
While our home is a beautiful townhouse atelier in Thurloe Street, London, some of our favourite moments happen a little further afield.
This November we are bringing the experience to you. Our expert tailoring team returns to the United States for our autumn trunk show, and we'll be bringing a little piece of our London atelier with us, from our favourite cloth collections and sample garments to the personal, unhurried experience we love sharing with our clients. With the full London fitting experience is arriving in Washington and New York, and Chicago and Boston are joining the tour for the first time.
Private appointments will take place in beautiful private suites at some of our favourite 5-star hotels, offering a relaxed and intimate setting in which to discuss your wardrobe, explore ideas and begin creating something truly special with the same care and attention you would find in South Kensington.

Each private appointment provides dedicated time to explore cloth, discuss your wardrobe requirements, fit and silhouette preferences and be measured in comfort.
What to Expect at Your Consultation
Your appointment lasts approximately sixty minutes inside a private hotel suite, offering a quiet, discreet setting away from the shop floor.
We'll begin by getting to know you, your personal style and what you would love to create. Perhaps you're looking for a beautifully cut suit that will become a wardrobe favourite, a winter coat in the most wonderful cashmere, or something altogether more adventurous.
Alongside a member of our tailoring team, you will explore sample garments, master model blocks, and cloth books from historic British, Irish and Italian mills. We carry everything from structured worsted wools and soft flannels to evening silks, velvets and warm-weather linens.
Whether you need a sharp two-piece suit for work, an evening jacket, a tailored coat, or bespoke bridalwear, we assist you in choosing the silhouette, lapel, and linings best suited to your style. Your stylist will then take comprehensive measurements to form the foundation of your garment.
And, of course, you're more than welcome to bring a friend or loved one along. We find that choosing beautiful clothes is often even more enjoyable in good company.
Craft, Delivery, and Follow-Up Fittings
Every garment is created with care by our skilled tailoring and dressmaking teams, combining traditional techniques with a thoughtful understanding of modern women's wardrobes.
Orders are typically completed within eight weeks. For clients outside the United Kingdom, subsequent fittings and final adjustments are managed seamlessly through remote consultations, and our local specialist alterations partners ..
